This project introduces a new primary suite and bath to a residence in the San Fernando Valley, thoughtfully designed with a modern classical sensibility that combines timeless detailing with contemporary comfort. The addition was conceived to expand the home’s livability without overwhelming its existing footprint, resulting in a space that feels both elegant and understated.

Drury Architects guided the design process from the earliest concept sketches through permitting, ensuring that the modest footprint was maximized with smart planning and refined proportions. The new suite emphasizes natural light, spatial flow, and material selections that complement the existing residence while elevating it with a heightened level of privacy and retreat.

The primary bath extends this approach, blending clean lines with warm finishes for a sophisticated yet inviting environment. In addition to design services, Drury Architects provides construction observation, helping to maintain continuity from concept through execution and ensuring that the original vision is carried through every detail.
