Drury Architects is proud to have served as the Architect of Record for the Ferrarini Café Outdoor Dining Patio, a 60-foot-long al fresco dining space that is both spacious and intimate. Completed as part of the Beverly Hills Al Fresco Dining Patio Program, this project is a result of an inspiring collaboration between the talented ownership team at Ferrarini Café, Triple Five Pacific Fastwell General Contractors, and the design expertise of Lorcan O’Herlihy Architects, who developed the prefabricated components.

The patio’s design blends modern elegance with thoughtful functionality, creating a seamless connection between Ferrarini Café and the bustling streetscape of Beverly Hills. Its linear layout maximizes usability, offering flexible seating arrangements for larger gatherings and more intimate dining experiences. The prefabricated systems allowed for a streamlined approval process, showcasing the ingenuity of the city’s public-private partnerships in reimagining the urban environment.

Landscaping played a pivotal role in enhancing the ambiance of the patio. Planters filled with vibrant greenery and succulents frame the dining area, adding layers of texture and color that soften the sleek modern design. The choice of drought-tolerant plants not only reflects environmental sensitivity but also ensures low-maintenance beauty that thrives in the California climate. The landscaping serves as both a natural barrier and a visual enhancement, creating a sense of enclosure that elevates the dining experience without isolating it from the vibrant surroundings.
